Is Infinitism a cult?

No, cults do crazy things like mass suicides and denounce all possessions. Infinitism is a passive, low involvement religion based on reason, not rituals, dogma, or superstitions.

Is Infinitism a cyber-religion?

Not really, although the works and practices of Infinitism are presented digitally, it is a belief designed to apply to real life.

Does it cost anything to join? Can I make a donation?

No, there is no centralized money in the Infinitism. Note: Currently, all combined religious wealth could pay off all third world debt.

Can I charge a fee to perform a wedding or funeral?

Yes, as long as you abide by the laws of your local and nation government.

Many elements of Mysticism and ancient Tibetan beliefs are based on Infinity... why is Infinitism "the 'first' religion based on Infinity"?

This is for several reasons. 1) Infinitism is the first modern religion based on Infinity. 2) Infinitism is the first religion completely based on Infinity. 3) Infinitism is the first official (or organized) religion based on Infinity.

HISTORY

April 25th, 1997

The future founder of Infinitism creates a philosophy called 'Extreme Consciousness'. A theory based on the idea that Infinity expands the mind and spirit.

November 5th, 1999

'Extreme Consciousness' evolves into Infinitism, the first religion based on Infinity.

January 1st, 2000

Infinitism is founded by an American named David Haley. Mr. Haley pronounces himself an Infinitist and writes the first draft of the Infinitism Manifesto.

May 17th, 2001

Infinitism.org opens as the official website of Infinitism.

March 20th, 2010

The Infinitism Manifesto becomes publicly collaborative. Infinitism becomes the first religion that anyone can edit.
